“After finishing my career being a Professional Rugby player overseas, My goal was to ‘Win back my joints!’ from the impact of a contact sport, all the injuries sustained from the all the unnatural postures Rugby puts you into.

I found Dan, and learnt more about my body than I had training and rehabbing in a Professional environment full time. I learnt about how the body is supposed to move and learning about the postures that we are born with, we have trained ourselves to see it as being abnormal. As often, we injure ourselves because we have trained it protect itself from ranges of mobility the body has trained itself to not be use to anymore.

I continued to play rugby in to my late 30's, and the work I did with Dan helped me to improve and recover by not only maximising the ranges in all my joints but strengthen muscles and ligaments in those ranges to support the joint in how it is supposed to move.

I truly believe this understanding of your body with the way Dan trains can give athletes in all sports the foundations and ability to not only prevent injuries for a longer more enjoyable career, but also enhance skills in movements and postures to improve performance in all sports.”

STORY:
I've just taken Dan's 12 week mobility course, and it's really, really good. It's made a big difference. Before I had back pain. Especially because I work in the office all day.

Overall, I felt quite stiff when I moved around and I wasn't quite sure what was going on or why I hit the gym. You know, I do the weights, but this is things that regular weights could not have helped.

I work in the office all day and my lifestyle is not the best. And so doing this course has really helped me.

If you work in the office all day, who's sitting in front of a desk? I highly recommend you just speak to Dan and do one of his programs. And yeah, get some coaching.

working with Dan really helps. It will help challenge you and motivate you to improve and just take care of your overall mobility health, which is quite important for all of us.

If you have wealth, you have love, you know, you have money, you have a job. But without your health, it makes everything worse.

if you're still on the fence, speak to Dan right away. I really recommend it because he will help you.

And so for me, I took a lunge and it really changed. So thanks a lot, Dan, and I appreciate it. I hope to be doing more work as what we do in the future.

OCCUPATION: Stage 3 bilateral hip osteoarthritis; Cervical dystonia
STORY:
I've been training with Danny for 2 years now – after years of giving up on gyms and PT's because of ongoing pain and mobility issues.

With Stage 3 bilateral hip osteoarthritis and a condition known as cervical dystonia, which causes my neck muscles to contract resulting in headaches and pain, I had given up on ever being able to move or train with confidence again. When I began training with Danny, I did so tentatively. I had a mountain of fears to overcome.

After every session, I kept expecting inflammation to seize my hips or for my neck muscles to freeze. To my astonishment, though, Danny was able to guide me through a training schedule that kept me moving and getting stronger, without causing my body to grind to a painful halt.

Danny has a brilliant approach to training – he changes up the exercises until I can actually feel the muscles being targeted. And he is able to skilfully push me to my limits, but never beyond them. The most incredible part of the process, though, is that I actually enjoy training now.

Sure, Danny has a great personality and is fun to workout with but, more importantly, he's given me the confidence to move and keep moving. I no longer dread weights training for fear of crippling pain – I actually look forward to it. And, for that, I truly can't thank or recommend Danny highly enough.

He's given me a confidence in my body's ability to move and heal that I never thought I'd experience again.

STORY:
I worked with Danny for over a year, and the mobility progress I made in that time is astounding.

One of the main reasons I engaged Danny as my mobility coach was to regain the ability to touch my toes.

When we had our first session I could barely reach past my knees, but within months I could place my palms flat on the floor with straight legs. This is one of the many functional improvements I’ve gained from working with Danny.

Danny is extremely knowledgeable about mobility training and has always been happy to answer any questions I’ve had regarding my workouts.

The mobility programs he’s written for me have always been in-depth, practical and perfectly tailored to my individual progress and goals.

I’ve found Danny enjoyable to work with, knowledgeable and professional, and I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve the capabilities of their bodies.

STORY:
I started my handstand journey a good few years ago but was always just fighting for a long hold (managed 10seconds once).

I never fully focused on why I couldn’t consistently hold. Maybe 1 in 100 was over 5 seconds. Life got busy and I fell out of the habit of practicing.

Im now on Handsdan’s handstand programme and after just 3 weeks of 3 sessions a week, my handstands are more consistent but more importantly, I have a much better understanding of what part of my body should be active, what part can relax and where I need to open more and how much pressure I need in my hands.

The weekly online class is great time to ask questions and to get instant feedback on my progress.

It has brought structure to my practice and it’s paying off in other areas of my training too
